Job Description - Business Development Representative - Outten Chevrolet

Hiring Immediately, Business Development Representative 

Outten Chevrolet is looking for a high -detail Business Development Professional who knows how to engage customers, set appointments, and keep the sales floor moving. We are looking for a closer—not on the lot, but on the phone and through digital engagement.

If you are a salesperson seeking a stronger base salary or a BDC expert looking for a dealership that values your ability to drive the process, this is your next career move. This role is designed for someone who wants to GROW their career by becoming the primary link between a lead and a deal.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: At least one year of related BDC or high -volume customer service experience (Automotive experience is a major plus!).
  • Communication: Elite verbal and written skills. You must have "the lure"—the ability to build value and excitement before the customer even walks through the door.
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Mindset: An excellent collaborative attitude and an eagerness to keep the team in motion.
  • Professionalism: Proven time management skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Appointment Generation: Answer incoming customer calls and establish firm sales appointments.
  • Lead Conversion: Respond with lightning speed to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries with personalized, relevant content.
  • Strategic Follow -Up: Play the "long -game" by relentlessly pursuing leads that are not yet ready for an appointment or those who "no -showed."
  • Manager Partnership: Act as the catalyst for the sales team—working hand in hand with managers to review trade values, structure deals, and make return calls in real -time.
  • Data Integrity: Utilize the CRM tracking system daily with 100% accuracy to ensure no customer falls through the cracks.
