Pay: $190,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year

Location: Mission Viejo, California – Full-time, on-site position in a professional, collaborative office environment.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California and have at least 5 years of direct business litigation experience. Candidates with construction litigation experience are highly preferred.

Job Description

• Manage a diverse caseload of complex business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategic case recommendations.
• Represent clients during hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client's business objectives.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates and legal guidance.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
• Maintain organized case files while effectively managing deadlines and priorities.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 5+ years of business litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing litigation matters with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable using modern legal technology and case management software.
• Construction litigation experience is highly preferred.
