Business Office Specialist, PRN, Outpatient

Fort Jesse Imaging Center is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Business Office Specialist I to join our team in Normal, IL!

Position Status: PRN / As Needed
Location: Normal, IL
Schedule: Variable, based on staffing needs

PRN SCHEDULE:

This is an as-needed position with no set or guaranteed hours. You will be part of our PRN coverage pool and may be contacted when additional coverage is needed due to PTO, employee illness, or other staffing needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Business Office Specialist I, you will help provide a welcoming and positive experience for our patients while supporting the daily operations of the imaging center.

Responsibilities may include:

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Patient registration and check-out
• Scheduling appointments
• Answering phone calls
• Assisting patients with questions
• Maintaining patient records
• Helping with general office duties
• Working with the team to keep the center running smoothly

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
