## The group you\u2019ll be a part of\n\nThe Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.\n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nJoin Lam as a Business Operations Analyst focused on Workmanship Quality, where you\u0027ll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.\n\nIn this role, you will serve as the program integrator and execution driver for Lam\u2019s Workmanship Quality initiatives, directly supporting CSBG\u2019s vision of delivering predictable performance, strong execution discipline, and customer confidence across the installed base. Your impact will be realized through improved cross\u2011functional alignment, clearly defined ownership, and consistent governance across regions and teams. By establishing program structure, managing milestones, and driving decisions and actions to closure, you will enable the organization to move from fragmented, reactive efforts to coordinated and scalable execution. This role ensures Workmanship Quality initiatives translate into sustained operational improvements, predictable outcomes, and increased confidence in Lam\u2019s ability to manage complexity at scale.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nOwn and evolve the end\u2011to\u2011end Workmanship Quality (WQ) operating model, from issue intake and logging through governance and closure, ensuring the right RCCA is identified and implemented effectively. Define clear interim and future\u2011state processes to ensure continuity during system\u2011of\u2011record transitions and eliminate reliance on ad\u2011hoc workarounds. Lead the interim system\u2011of\u2011record model (e.g., ETS access and governance) and partner cross\u2011functionally to align and finalize the future system\u2011of\u2011record decision, including cutover and handoff planning. Establish clear accountability models, governance cadence, and escalation paths focused on systemic improvement and repeat prevention. Define and sustain outcome\u2011based KPIs measuring timeliness, effectiveness, recurrence, and severity, ensuring continuity across system transitions. Analyze WQ trends to identify systemic gaps and deliver executive\u2011ready insights, decision materials, and governance updates that drive consistent, repeatable improvements.\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; or 8 years and a Master\u2019s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience in field operations, quality programs, or non\u2011conformance management, particularly in complex or regulated operational environments\n * Demonstrated ability to lead cross\u2011functional programs spanning multiple organizations (e.g., GFSO, GCO, Quality, EHS, Product Support, Engineering)\n * Experience supporting or managing system\u2011of\u2011record transitions, including interim operating models, handoffs, and cutover planning\n * Strong background in program governance, including milestone tracking, decision management, escalation paths, and executive reporting\n * Proven capability to define and drive accountability frameworks across distributed regional teams\n * Experience establishing or operating outcome\u2011based KPIs and review cadences tied to execution performance\n * Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex initiatives into clear status, risks, decisions, and next steps\n * Comfortable operating in environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, and customer\u2011visible pressure\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\n#LI-LE1 \n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 - $253,000.00.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
