Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – ERP & Omnichannel Commerce is responsible for the operational stability, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's retail and omnichannel commerce platforms.
This role bridges the gap between business operations and technical infrastructure, combining deep business process understanding with functional expertise in enterprise commerce applications. Operating within a global collaborative model, the successful candidate will ensure seamless retail store and eCommerce operations while driving scalable system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Support, maintain, and optimize core retail commerce environments, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, pricing engines, store operations, and transactional workflows.
Issue Resolution & Integration: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues across commerce, ERP, CRM, and integrated business platforms, ensuring data consistency and seamless system integrations.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Configuration: Partner with business units to translate retail requirements into scalable technical solutions, configuring business rules, workflows, and system settings to meet operational demands.
Release Management & Vendor Coordination: Participate in testing, release validation, and deployment activities while coordinating with external vendors and global IT teams to increase internal platform ownership.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Application Support, or equivalent IT-focused operational role.
Core Technical Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on configuration and support experience specifically within specialized enterprise commerce ecosystems (such as modern ERP/Commerce suites).
Analytical Problem Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
Integration Knowledge: Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and interconnected business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Extended Platform Familiarity: Advanced experience with broader enterprise modules including Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
Global Operations: Experience working within distributed support organizations, international teams, or extended workbench operating models.
Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder management capabilities with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business partners.
