America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

Job description We are looking for a passionate Geospatial Data Analyst who is hands on with PostgresSQL and PostGIS along with Google Maps API. Certification would be a bonus. Primary role will be ability to liaison with non-IT counterparts, interpret business requirements as analytical steps, ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information, analyze it under the constraints of the problem at hand and provide reports/presentations that drive answers to business questions. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Job Responsibilities • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Filter and “clean” data and proactively identify problems with data and code generating them • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Skillset requirements RDBMS Database : PostGRES, Oracle 11g GIS Database : PostGIS, Oracle Spatial GIS Tools : QGIS, JavaScript API, ArcMap, PostESRI , FME Workbench Languages : PL/SQL (4 years), Python (2 years) Operating System : Windows, Linux Other tools : MS Excel, MS Powerpoint Qualifications BS/MS BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics Experience 5+ years in PostGRES, PostGIS, QGIS, Node.js/ AngularJS , Google Maps API, Oracle, ETL methods, Docker.
