About the Role: 

We are looking for a Business Systems Developer to work closely with BizOps, Finance, Quality, HR, and Engineering in building Avive’s system infrastructure while maintaining ongoing operations. You will report to the Sr. Director of Business operations and partner with Avive’s leaders to build towards operational excellence. 

• Understand end user problem statements, business requirements, and use cases and build system solutions to solve
• Manage and build development pipeline and collaborate with larger teams for feature demos, testing, and code deployment
• Develop and maintain APIs to support various applications and third-party integrations
• Excellent understanding and experience developing of API, webhooks, and software intermediaries
• Writing quality backend code, including validation tests using languages including, but not limited to, SQL, Java, Python, and Apex
• Perform code reviews, follow best practices with performance, scalability, and stability and key requirements
• Familiarity working with Avive’s core systems such as Celigo, Netsuite, Salesforce, Stripe, and Shopify. 

• 3-5 years of experience in backend development with strong experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Salesforce developer certification with experience with Quote to Cash development
• Proficiency in SQL, Apex and Java with experience in database design, optimization, and scaling
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, tools, and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Anticipated salary range: $140,000 - $155,000
