We are searching for the best talent for a Business Unit Leader, Monarch role to be located in Santa Clara, CA or Raritan, NJ.
Please note, there is a pre-identified candidate for the role, however all applications will be reviewed and considered.
Purpose:
Monarch is the 1st multispecialty endoluminal robot with approved indications in the US for the diagnosis of lung cancer and the treatment of kidney stones. Monarch is being commercialized now in lung cancer and is in first in human studies in urology. The category of endoluminal robotics for the treatment of lung cancer is growing fast due to the technology enabling the earlier identification of lung cancer which improves life expectancy.
You will be responsible for:
National Sales Leadership
Lead, shape and direct all aspects of the US Monarch Business Unit (Direct reports - Capital sales, Consumable Sales and Marketing; Indirect reports – Service, HEMA, Government affairs, Legal, Professional education, Commercial education, Contracting, Strategic Customer Group) by defining the strategic objectives and the business plans required to ensure excellence in execution and delivery of BP

Shape the external environment by building relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including government policy-makers, healthcare executives, purchasing groups, IDN’s, professional associations etc.

Leverage market insights and strategic/commercial capabilities to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that drive growth and optimize shareholder value.

Lead market development strategies focused on gaining market access, clinical & economic evidence dissemination and strategic contract strategy to deliver against BP targets for new product launches

Lead the team to create a high-performing, agile, and customer-focused organization. Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex, dynamic marketplace. Champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace environment and a highly engaged workforce.
Ensure healthcare compliance and ethical/integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
Successful experience leading a disruptive capital equipment team, driving utilization, selling service and building programs across community hospitals, academic centers and integrated health systems
Demonstrated skill in delivering on all aspects of a P&L (sales, operating expenses, net income). Business and financial acumen, as well as a strategic mindset as evidenced by a track record of leading organizations to achieve results in challenging, complex business environments (not just growing markets).
