We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam\u0027s business.\n\n \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAt Lam, as a Buyer, you play a pivotal role in our procurement process. You analyze purchase requirements and coordinate purchasing activities across departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. You\u0027ll support processing purchase requisitions, change orders, and quotes (RFQs) from suppliers. Engaging in cost analysis and volume planning within our enterprise-wide systems (ERPs), you negotiate for the best value and explore new supply sources for cost-saving. Your expertise ensures Lam\u0027s procurement remains efficient and competitive on a global scale.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions and quotations for materials, components, capital equipment and services.\n * Manage purchase orders and changes based on demand.\n * Understand, maintain, and report weekly KPI\u0027s.\n * Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.\n * Manage purchase order (PO) releases to meet demand requirements.\n * Build key supplier relationships to review open action items, performance, demand forecast, and cost reductions.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.\n * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,).\n * Working knowledge or experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other procurement related tools.\n * Communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.\n * This is a graduate eligible role.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Experience in the semiconductor industry or other high-tech industries.\n * Foundational understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data.\n * Excellent negotiation skills to achieve best value pricing.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
