Buyer/Purchasing Agent

Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting Buyer/Purchasing Agent to join our team. If you are interested in joining a team that helps to build equipment that helps save lives, please apply.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory management
• Interdepartmental collaboration
• Working with vendors to order and track shipments
• Material handling
• ERP navigation
• Forecasting based on historical data and current scheduled orders
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Product Supply, Manufacturing Systems (Supply Chain)
• Strong Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Suite programs
• Previous experience building Bills of Materials (BOMs) highly desired
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
• Must be able to obtain a forklift certification
• Is results-driven, self-starter, achievement oriented, and takes a proactive approach in getting work accomplished
• Comfortable with operating in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in supply-chain management a plus but not required

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Compensation: $24 - $26/Hour DOE

Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
