Cabinet Finisher

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cabinet Finisher role Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for quality craftsmanship and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare cabinets, doors, drawers, and other wood components for finishing through sanding, filling, masking, and surface preparation.

· Apply stains, paints, sealers, lacquers, clear coats, and other finishes according to specifications and quality standards.

· Operate spray guns and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

· Mix and prepare stains, paints, and finishing materials to achieve required colors and finishes.

· Inspect finished products for proper color, coverage, consistency, and overall appearance.

· Perform touch-ups and correct finish imperfections as needed to meet quality standards.

· Read and follow work orders, finish specifications, color requirements, and production instructions.

· Maintain finishing equipment, spray areas, and workspaces to ensure a clean and organized production environment.

· Follow all required safety procedures when handling paints, stains, solvents, and other finishing materials.

· Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality.

· Promptly report equipment issues, material concerns, quality problems, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; previous cabinet, woodworking, furniture, or industrial finishing experience is preferred.

· Experience with spray finishing, staining, painting, sanding, or similar wood-finishing processes preferred.

· Ability to recognize color, finish, and surface imperfections and make necessary corrections.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products.

· Ability to safely use spray guns, sanders, hand tools, and other finishing equipment.

· Ability to follow work orders, specifications, and verbal or written instructions.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work safely around paints, stains, solvents, and other finishing materials while following required PPE and safety procedures.
