CAD Coordinator/Specialist

Pay: $150,000.00/annual

The pay listed is the salaried rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Rapid Test Fits 

● Test Fit Development: Produce high-velocity 2D test fit layouts to validate if a team or department can fit within a proposed footprint. 

● Scenario Modeling: Quickly iterate on floor plan options (densification, restacks, or neighborhood planning) based on input from the Occupancy Planner. 

● Feasibility Checks: Evaluate building constraints (columns, egress, core/she l) to ensure test fits are realistic and code-compliant. 

CAFM & Drawing Management

● Audit Support: Update floor plans folowing site audits to reflect as-built conditions versus planned layouts. 

● Database Integrity: Own the accuracy of the CAFM/IWMS platform (e.g., Tririga, Archibus, etc). 

● Polylining & Attribution: Maintain master drawing files. Perform polylining for space alocation and ensure al metadata (space types, department codes, and seat IDs) is current. 

Visual Storytelling & Programming

● From Data to Drawing: Assist the Occupancy Planner in creating "visual narratives," such as color-coded stacking plans, heat maps of utilization, and adjacency diagrams. 

● Executive Presentations: Clean up raw CAD files into polished, presentation-ready graphics for leadership reviews. 

What You Bring: 

● Agility: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can turn around a test fit in hours, not days. 

● Technical Proficiency: Advanced skils in AutoCAD are mandatory. Experience with Revit or Adobe Creative Suite (I lustrator/InDesign) is a significant plus. 

● CAFM Knowledge: 2+ years of experience working within an IWMS/CAFM system where you managed the link between drawings and occupancy data. 

● Real Estate Literacy: You understand BOMA/IFMA space measurement standards and how corporate real estate functions. 

● Detail Obsession: You understand that a 1% error in a polyline can lead to a 100-seat error in a massive portfolio.

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, or Corporate Real Estate. 

● Education: Degree in Architecture, Design, or a related technical field. 

● Bonus: Portfolio demonstrating quick-turn test fits and space planning examples.
