Job Description - Cafe Manager

As the brand ambassador, the Café Manager is responsible for driving profitability through the P&L, while developing a crew that serves customers with unparalleled hospitality. The ideal candidate must align with the culture and values of the brand while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

MISSION OF THE ROLE: LEAD THE DELIVERY OF LEGENDARY SERVICE

The Café Manager leads the daily operation of the café while developing strong team members into future leaders. This role ensures the café delivers Legendary Service, maintains operational excellence, and achieves financial performance goals.

This position combines leadership, operational discipline, and team development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Culture

• Model the company mission: Deliver Legendary Service

• Uphold and reinforce company core values

• Build a culture of accountability and teamwork

• Develop team members into future leaders

• Lead team meetings and reinforce operational standards

Operations Management

• Oversee all daily café operations

• Ensure recipe accuracy and food quality standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels during shifts

Team Development

• Recruit, interview, and hire new team members

• Train and develop assistant managers and shift leaders

• Provide coaching and performance feedback

• Ensure onboarding and training systems are properly followed

Financial Performance

• Manage labor scheduling and productivity

• Monitor sales performance and operational metrics

• Control food cost and operational expenses

• Ensure proper inventory management and ordering

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest receives Legendary Service

• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally

• Maintain a welcoming and positive environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality operations

• Strong communication and coaching ability

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Commitment to accountability and high standards

• Servsafe® Certified

Work schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
