Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of incoming patient calls in a professional and courteous manner


• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments


• Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, office policies, and general information


• Take accurate messages and communicate them to the appropriate staff


• Handle patient concerns and provide excellent customer service


• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information


• Document all calls and patient interactions accurately


• Follow office procedures, HIPAA requirements, and patient privacy standards


• Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Previous call center, medical office, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Professional telephone etiquette


• Strong computer and organizational skills


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team


• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
