We are seeking a full-time Call Center Triage Associate to join our team at JISF! The Call Center Triage Associate will work in a fast-paced medical environment and functions as a liaison between the providers and their patients. This crucial position collects patient information and shares it with the appropriate practitioner.
Expectations include:
· Answering all incoming calls in a call center setting
· Process medication refills
· Address post op concerns
· Assist with patient orders and referrals
· Exercise utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for all callers
· Educate callers on Practice’s Policies and Procedures
· Transfers calls to the correct department, as needed
· Work with coworkers to continuously ensure adequate phone coverage
· Abide by confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with Practice’s Policies and HIPAA requirements.
· Exercise problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills when needed
Schedule: FULL TIME, Monday - Thursday, 7:45 am - 5:15 pm and Fridays 7:45 am – 3:15 pm (actual schedule may vary and depend on needs of department)

Requirements
If you are a person who possesses the following, we would love to talk with you!
Preferred
· Previous Triage Call Center or Medical Assistant role
· Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM
· Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans
· Working knowledge of electronic medical records systems
General Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Passion for customer service
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Compassionate and patient
· Professional demeanor
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
· Ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail
