Executive Pastor

PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Kingsburg Campus Pastor serves as the primary relational leader, catalyst, and shepherd for the Kingsburg campus. This leader has a deep passion for helping Neighborhood Church live out a “FOR the community” posture in Kingsburg through local outreach, strong volunteer teams, and a campus culture that reflects the heart and experience of Neighborhood Church.

This role is centered around Endearing, Inspiring, and Equipping—helping Neighborhood Church become a trusted and vital part of the Kingsburg community, inspiring people to engage in the mission of the church, and equipping leaders and volunteers to serve well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. ENDEAR — Leadership, Campus Strategy & Community Engagement

• Serves as the Primary Catalyst & Champion: Helps create growth, engagement, and outward-focused momentum for the Kingsburg campus, continually pointing teams toward people who are not yet in the room.


• Builds Strong Community Relationships: Looks for ways Neighborhood Church can serve, partner with, and add value to the Kingsburg community.
  

2. INSPIRE — Campus Ministry & Operations

• Oversees Campus Operations: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Kingsburg campus, leads campus staff, and coordinates with Neighborhood Church ministry leaders to keep the campus healthy, aligned, and running well.


• Coordinates ministry across the Kingsburg campus, including small groups, Next Gen, volunteer teams, host teams, setup/tech, and local ministry efforts.


• Inspires people to take ownership of the mission and ministry of Neighborhood Church.


• Hosts Sunday Gatherings & Pastoral Care: Serves as the host and relational face of Sunday mornings. This includes welcoming guests, leading service transitions, and providing pastoral care before and after services.


• Supports Multisite Alignment: Helps carry out the hybrid video-teaching model in alignment with the Visalia campus so there is unity and a strong teaching experience across both campuses.

3. EQUIP — Leadership Development & Teaching

• Develops leaders who can care for people, lead teams, and take greater ownership of ministry.


• Shares teaching and preaching responsibilities at both the Kingsburg and Visalia campuses.


• Works with the Lead Pastor and teaching team in sermon preparation and teaching.


• Helps reproduce Neighborhood Church’s culture, values, and ministry approach through leadership development and teaching.

• Teaching & Communication: Communicates with clarity and impact across all settings—whether in writing, personal conversations, or weekend teaching across both campuses.


• Alignment with Vision/Values: Fully supports and lives out Neighborhood Church’s vision, values, culture, and multisite approach.
  

WORK SCHEDULE

Full Time / Expected to lead or coordinate leadership for all Sunday worship gatherings, including special services such as Christmas Eve and Easter.
