JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Licenses: Active Michigan License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Other Qualifications:

Clean malpractice and license history;
NPDB self-query required
Must be able to work independently

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage at Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital.
Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, thoracotomy, and mediastinal procedures.
Manage night call and round on patients as required.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center.
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
