Cardiovascular Radiologist

The Montefiore Department of Radiology is seeking an ABR-certified/eligible radiologist to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division for a full-time position, beginning July 2020. The 6-member Cardiothoracic Imaging Division is a collegial group that provides coverage of several inpatient and outpatient facilities, the Heart Center, Cancer Center, Critical Care and Emergency Imaging as well as Heart and Lung transplant programs. Qualified candidates should be proficient in CT and MR for both pulmonary and cardiac indications and have mastery of chest radiography as well as procedures. We have a robust, ACR-accredited lung cancer screening program. Mentorship will be provided for highly specialized practice areas and for research. Our staff is responsible for the education and supervision of two fellows as well as the chest and cardiac rotations and curriculum for radiology residents.

Montefiore Medical Center is the premier teaching hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine serving the exceptionally diverse population of Bronx, NY a short drive or public transit commute from Manhattan and also easily accessible from Westchester County, Long Island and northern New Jersey. Imaging equipment is state of the art. A new lab offers 3D imaging, 3D printing, augmented reality and simulation training.

Compensation and benefits are highly competitive. Faculty rank at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Applicants must be eligible for and be able to obtain licensure in New York prior to their start date.
