PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes (active staff required)
Credentialing Timeline: 30 -60 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Must have recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience, including Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) with Maquet Hemopro 2 system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified
Licenses: Active California license
DEA: Active DEA registration
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience, including EVH
Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; must be on active unrestricted staff at a TJC accredited facility; self -query NPDB report (dated within 30 days) required at presentation

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
Conduct morning rounds, write post -operative notes, shared with surgeons
Staff follow -up clinic on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, seeing up to 6 patients
Occasional urgent patient evaluation outside scheduled clinic times
Participate in night call after onsite shift, with minimal callback
