Care Navigator Companion/Resident Support Specialist, PRN

We are currently seeking a Resident Support Specialist to join our Care Navigator team. This is a flexible-schedule position ideal for compassionate individuals looking to make a meaningful impact — with opportunities for additional hours and career growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Support residents’ independence and mobility while addressing emotional and social needs.
• Create personalized engagement opportunities based on resident interests.
• Provide transportation and accompany residents to meals or medical appointments.
• Assist with moving residents to various levels of care, as needed.
• Assist with long-term care policy claims and communicate with families and care teams.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition and document care accurately.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in long-term elderly care required
• Valid SC driver’s license with a clean record (past 3 years)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong communication and documentation skills
