Caregiver Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Marysville, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, helping to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.


• Assist with mobility and transportation as needed.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervising caregivers and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Prior experience in caregiving or related field is an asset but not required.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to follow instructions and handle physical demands of the role.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Ability to pass background checks.
