Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA)

America's Home Health Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/Home Health Aides to provide non-medical in-home care to clients in the 

Wilkes barre pa and surrounding areas

 In this role, you will help clients maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation


• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping


• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team


• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment


• Follow individualized care plans and company policies

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions


• Reliable transportation to client homes


• Ability to pass required background screenings


• Previous caregiver/ HHA experience is preferred but not required


• Must meet all applicable state requirements for home care employment
