Responsibilities

The Specialist II owns attendance, performance, and licensure/certification compliance cases end-to-end. Acts as a coach to leaders – raising caregiver relations literacy, ensuring due process, and escalating seamlessly when risk elevates. Advises, not just administers – crafts fair, defensible corrective action plans. Uses data patterns to spot underlying drivers; recommends systemic fixes. Models trauma-informed facilitation in difficult conversations. 

  • Conduct fact-finding; recommend and draft corrective actions (performance improvement plans, finals)
  • Manage licensure/compliance cases with HR Operations; coordinate administrative leaves as needed 
  • Facilitate leader/caregiver meetings with clarity, dignity and due process
  • Track commitments and outcomes; escalate to Tier III when evidence or allegations warrant 
  • Surface trends and propose policy/education improvements 


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years employee relations experience or meets education requirement.
  • Prior experience with investigative writing 
  • Prior experience with case management systems 
  • Prior experience with ADA/FMLA policies and procedures 


EDUCATION:

  • Associates degree or meets experience requirements


SKILLS: 

  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written
  • Proven ability to facilitate sensitive conversations 
  • Proven ability to de-escalate
  • Proven ability to prioritize
