Caregiver SAT/SUN - 7AM-3PM

Location: Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, Escondido, San Marcos, Encinitas, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and surrounding areas

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN

Pay: Competitive hourly pay $20-$25/hour

About the Role

United Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home care that helps seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands, when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow individualized care plans and complete accurate shift documentation

Qualifications

• Caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional with strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if transportation is required)
• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care
• Willing to complete background check, TB clearance, and required onboarding

Preferred Experience

• Dementia or Alzheimer's care
• Parkinson's disease, post-hospital recovery, or mobility assistance
• Experience with gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and transfer assistance
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
