Caregivers for 12hr Shifts (Home Care)

Friends for Life is looking for AMAZING experienced, quality Caregivers who have a passion for serving others, and a desire to improve the quality of life of Seniors throughout our community to join our CARE TEAM!

We are hiring new team members for a MALE Dementia Care Client, PERSONAL CARE for ADLs, advanced Parkinson's, hospice - who needs 12-HOUR DAY SHIFTS and lives in Denver (80210) in a memory care facility.

MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH ADLs (minimum 2 years preferably as a CNA OR trained Personal Care Provider), DEMENTIA with the ability to manage frustrated behavior, and  PARKINSON'S. Caregivers must be dedicated, reliable, and consistent. 

Salary: 

• $22 / hour


• Bi-weekly pay


• On-Call Bonuses

Schedule:

• DAY SHIFT Openings: Monday, Tuesday,  Friday,  7:00 am-7:00 pm

Client Care may include, but is not limited to:

• Dementia Care, Behavior Support


• Assist with Dressing and grooming (shaving with an electric razor, skin care, oral care, nail care)


• Assistance with ambulation and transfers


• Assistance with toileting 


• Assistance for Showering


• Medication Reminders


• Accompaniment for Errands & Outings (Caregiver Drives Client Car)


• Meal Prep


• Light housekeeping & Laundry


• Companionship & Socialization

Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience with hands-on Senior Care (i.e. Personal Care, Companion Care)


• Dementia & Alzheimer's Care


• Parkinson's


• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
