The Mission

As Carpenter, you’ll keep our vacation rentals guest-ready by delivering sharp maintenance craftsmanship that protects safety, quality, and on-time arrivals. You’ll perform general and finish carpentry: repair/install doors and frames, locks, trim, baseboards, cabinets, shelving, stairs/railings, decks, and flooring; build/modify custom fixtures and furniture; and handle related drywall, paint, caulk, and hardware touch-ups. You’ll diagnose damage, choose the right materials and tools, follow codes and safety rules, and document work with notes/photos/receipts. You’ll coordinate closely with operations and respond fast when an urgent issue could impact a current guest.

Qualifications:
- Proven carpentry experience in property, maintenance, or engineering environments
- Strong troubleshooting, detail, and customer-focused communication
- Ability to lift, climb, and work hands-on across multiple homes

On-the-Go Craft

Your day kicks off with a route of Hilton Head Island homes—sometimes planned, sometimes changing in an instant. You knock out a shelving install, tune up a cabinet, replace a damaged flooring section, rebuild outdoor steps, or finish trim after another technician’s repair. Between stops, you stay tight on documentation—uploading photos, logging materials, and flagging anything new you spot. When a same-day arrival is on the line, you pivot quickly, keeping the operations team in the loop so everyone knows what’s ready and what’s next. Before you roll out, you clean the workspace, haul debris, and do a final quality/safety check so the property looks flawless for guests. The day ends with a clear update on what’s complete, what you need to pick up, and tomorrow’s priorities.
