Carpenter/Laborer

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Carpenter at C2 Building Company, you will play a pivotal role in our projects' success by assisting with construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million. Your responsibilities will include:

• General use of a multitude of power tools.
• Demonstrate best safety practices while working at heights, moving construction materials, lifting various objects up to 100lbs, and working in all-weather elements.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform simple layouts, read drawings, specifications, shop drawings and submittals.
• Ability to finish & trim carpentry, architectural casework, doors, frames, and hardware.
• Understand building types and construction methods.
• Prepare and maintain work areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Mark, cut and assemble materials to exact measurements.
• Fit and install frames, trim, and hardware.
• Verify accuracy of structurers with tools such as a laser, framing square and carpenter levels.
• Ability to operate equipment-skid loader, forklift, pumps, lifts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in construction or a like field.

Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry regulations.

Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with acute attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and the capability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously.
