Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail. As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, and providing exceptional customer service. 

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they approach the register and process transactions accurately and efficiently

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

- Answer customer questions and provide information about products and services

- Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed

- Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills and attention to detail

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
