Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our bakery team. This role combines excellent guest service with light food preparation, baking support, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests in a warm, welcoming manner

Accurately take orders and process transactions

Maintain knowledge of bakery products to answer guest questions

Assist with light food prep and basic baking tasks as needed

Stock displays and ensure products are attractively presented

Keep the front and back of house areas clean and organized

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized

Basic understanding of food safety practices (or willingness to learn)

Dependable with a positive attitude

Schedule:

Shifts are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced bakery setting requiring standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of light to moderate items.
