Cashier

Westfield Ford, Inc is seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team in Countryside, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale system


• Handle cash, credit, and check payments with integrity and attention to detail


• Assist customers with inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues promptly


• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area


• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations


• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security


• Answer phone calls and set appointments for service department


• Filing of Accounting documents on a needed basis weekly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly


• Basic math skills and attention to detail


• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
