Cashier

Transwest is seeking a Cashier at our Greeley, CO location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional, customer service oriented attitude and exhibit a friendly, poised demeanor through first line of contact with the public and our employees. The Cashier will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers.
• Collect payments (cash and/or credit).
• Filing.
• Receptionist duties as needed.
• Filling in at the front desk or switchboard as needed.
• Assist the Parts, Service and Warranty departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20Ibs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
• Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
• Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a MVR in good standing.
• Superior communication skills both in person and over the phone.
• 1+ year of solid administrative experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Cashier experience is a plus.
• Automotive/truck dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

JOB DETAILS:

• Type: Hourly
• Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Compensation Range: $22.00 - $26.00
• Reports To: Parts Manager
• Closing Date: Open until filled.
