AV Taxi Rides is currently hiring a dependable Cashier for an immediate start opportunity in Hartford. This position is responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate transaction records, and providing friendly customer service in support of daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately
• Issue receipts and maintain transaction records
• Assist customers with billing and payment inquiries
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of shifts
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area
• Support front desk and administrative operations when needed
• Follow company cash-handling procedures and policies
• Provide professional customer service at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required
• Dependable and professional work ethic

Salary Range

$16 – $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
