Cashier / Team Member

We're a small team in New York looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier / Team Member to join us. It's a straightforward role — you'll be serving customers, handling transactions, and helping keep things running smoothly day to day. Nothing too complicated, but it does need someone who shows up, stays focused, and genuinely doesn't mind being around people.

What you'll be doing

Customer service
- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome from the moment they walk in
- Answering questions and pointing people in the right direction
- Handling complaints or concerns calmly and flagging anything bigger to a manager

Cashier duties
- Processing transactions accurately — cash, card, and digital payments
- Keeping your register balanced and reporting any discrepancies
- Bagging items and making sure customers leave happy

General team duties
- Helping keep the floor, counter, and common areas clean and presentable
- Restocking and tidying shelves or displays when needed
- Pitching in wherever the team needs you during busy periods

- Reliable — someone who shows up on time and takes their shifts seriously
- Comfortable talking to all kinds of people face to face
- Able to stay calm and friendly when it gets busy
- Honest and trustworthy when handling cash and payments

- No prior experience needed — we'll train you properly from the start
