Catbridge Operator

The Catbridge Operator is responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring high-performance converting machinery to produce precision rolls according to product specifications. The role involves managing machine controls, inspecting output quality, troubleshooting basic mechanical or digital functions, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.



 Machine Operation & Oversight: Operate Catbridge slitter-rewinders, unwinds, or other converting equipment, adjusting digital recipes, tension controls, and automated settings



 Setup & Adjustments: Perform pre-run setups including knife and core placement, loading material rolls, and configuring automated workflows.



Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic mechanical repairs, clear jams, report major malfunctions, and keep machinery clean and well-maintained.



Material Handling: Safely operate equipment such as a forklift or overhead hoist to load and unload heavy raw and finished rolls



 Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.



 Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing, converting, or machine-operating environment



 Skills: Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations, computer literacy for touch-screen or PLC interface controls, and good verbal/written communication
