Job Description/Summary:

Shape the future of food by leading category strategy and innovation from insight to in-store execution. As a Category Manager, you will drive growth by leveraging shopper, customer, and market data to inform decisions, build innovation pipelines, and deliver profitable outcomes. This role partners cross-functionally to bring new products to life, optimize portfolio strategy, and strengthen category performance across channels.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Lead category strategy and innovation initiatives from concept through commercialization


• Partner with sales, marketing, R&D, finance, and operations to align priorities and execution


• Analyze shopper, category, and competitive data to identify growth opportunities


• Build and manage a pipeline of new products and product improvements


• Optimize product portfolio through performance analysis and SKU rationalization


• Develop pricing strategies and customer-specific recommendations with sales teams


• Create insights, tools, and training to support sales execution


• Monitor category performance and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree required


• 5+ years of experience in CPG, food industry, or related sales/analytics roles


• Experience with product launches and commercialization


• Strong analytical skills including POS data (Circana, Nielsen) and internal data


• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives


• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
