Your work will help hospitals and health systems secure these vital products while optimizing costs and supply chain performance. You\u2019ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team recognized for innovation in healthcare sourcing.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Manage a high complexity portfolio of medical and surgical agreements.\n * Conduct product and market assessments and market research for assigned categories.\n * Develop contracting strategies that will deliver unique value to support individual members, supply networks, academic medical centers as well as customers and clients in non-health care markets.\n * Manage the competitive bid process by negotiating favorable terms and conditions.\n * Implement new programmatic offerings while maintaining practical knowledge of the health care industry, market dynamics and new technology.\n * Develop and manage relationships with members, suppliers, and alliances to ensure satisfaction through effective, timely communication and problem resolution.\n * Effectively navigate market volatility and supply disruptions to consistently deliver portfolio performance and meet member needs.\n * Co-Chair for the Respiratory, Critical Care, Anesthesia council.\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Relevant degree preferred.\n * 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Healthcare and supply chain operations preferred.\n * Financially savvy with working with expense and revenue budgets preferred.\n * Effective communicator with the ability to develop and present insights, reports, and collateral to diverse audiences.\n * Experience with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management strongly preferred.\n * Excellent Microsoft Office and Outlook skills as well as written communication and verbal presentation skills preferred.\n * Based in Irving, TX, this hybrid role includes three days per week in the office.\n * Willingness to travel.\n\n\n\nEstimated Hiring Range:\n\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
