Job Summary:

The Catering & Event Sales Coordinator provides essential sales administrative and event planning support to the Senior Catering & Event Sales Manager and their team. This role plays a key part in organizing and supporting the sales and event execution process, ensuring both client service and internal operations are handled with timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting events or hospitality with a strong understanding of event flow and onsite logistics


• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine heart for hospitality, both internally and externally


• Confident, polished, and professional communication across email, phone, and in person


• Strong customer service instincts, conflict-resolution abilities, and relationship-building skills


• Ability to assist with proposals, contracts, timelines, and client questions with accuracy and professionalism


• Highly organized approach to managing files, tasks, client communication, and shifting priorities


• Comfortable coordinating tastings, venue walkthroughs, and client meetings


• Strong attention to detail with reliable follow-through on all tasks


• Proactive problem solver who anticipates needs and supports smooth, efficient planning


• Ability to create or update basic layouts and understand spatial and logistical event needs


• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support sales managers and cross- department teams


• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


• Self-starter with a positive, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple requests and deadlines


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and catering/event management software


• 2–3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, event coordination, sales support, administrative support, or related client-service roles


• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)


• Current California Food Handler’s card and valid driver’s license (required)


• Local travel required

Pay Range:

$25- $27 Per Hour (Depending on Experience), Full Time
