Catering & Events - Service Team

Lib's Grill is seeking an Immediate Off Premise Catering Event Server

As an Off Premise Catering Event Server, you will have the opportunity to work weekend shifts, 10-12 hour shifts, and holidays, all while enjoying flexible schedules and tips supplements. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you can learn valuable skills and be part of a team that is reshaping the industry.

• Receive email communications about upcoming events, including venue details, menus, and timelines.
• Pick up shifts via the 7shifts scheduling platform based on your availability.
• Educate yourself on venue details, including layout, service restrictions, and client expectations.
• Prepare necessary tools and equipment for service, including polishing silverware, glassware, and setting up buffets or service stations.
• Collaborate with your teammates to execute a seamless event, including setting up service equipment and venue preparation.
• Assist in loading and unloading event materials and equipment from the catering truck before and after the event.
• Participate in food and beverage service during cocktail hours, dinner service, and throughout the event, ensuring that displays are well-maintained and guests' needs are attentively met.
• Provide high-quality service to guests by being attentive, responding to requests, and addressing any concerns with professionalism.
• Assist with venue breakdown, including collecting and discarding plateware, food items, and trash, and ensuring the venue is clean and organized post-event.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in serving or catering preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport event equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work weekends, long shifts, and holidays
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
