Position Overview
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for growing and supporting the restaurant's catering business through exceptional guest service, relationship building, order management, and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for catering guests, ensuring every order is executed accurately, delivered on time, and reflects Chick-fil-A's commitment to remarkable hospitality.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests while driving sales growth within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Catering Sales & Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, healthcare facilities, and community organizations.
- Generate new catering opportunities through outreach, networking, and community engagement.
- Follow up with catering guests to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain and grow a database of catering clients and prospects.
Order Management
- Serve as the primary contact for all catering inquiries and orders.
- Accurately enter, confirm, and communicate catering orders.
- Ensure all guest requests, dietary needs, and delivery details are properly documented.
- Coordinate order changes and communicate updates with restaurant leadership and operations teams.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional hospitality before, during, and after each catering event.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback and strengthen relationships.
- Represent the Chick-fil-A brand with professionalism and care.
Operations & Execution
- Partner with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on schedule.
- Verify catering orders for quality, presentation, and completeness.
- Assist with setup, packaging, delivery coordination, and event execution as needed.
- Ensure catering equipment and supplies are properly maintained and organized.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Monitor catering sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and sales activities.
- Assist in planning and executing catering marketing initiatives.
- Track catering goals and provide regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to load, unload, and transport catering orders when needed.
