CATH LAB RN 

SUMMARY: 

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse is expected to assist with the planning and presentation of departmental inservices and to cross train in areas outside the normal nursing responsibilities.  The RN is a resource person and provides guidance to other licensed as well as non-licensed personnel.   The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the  adult through geriatric.  The attached criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as they relate to age specific competency. 

Qualifications 
  
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing.-Current RN license in the state of Texas-Current BCLS and ACLS certification-Minimum 1 yr ICU, CCU or Cardiac Cath Lab experience required-Current knowledge of ECG monitoring-I.A.B.P exp preferred-ADN required, BSN required or enrolled within 6 mnths of hire.
