CCTV Technician - Traveling Richmond, VA

Position Overview

Our organization is one of the largest network infrastructure installers in the nation. We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the installation, upgrading, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV systems.

Travel Expectations:

• Travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, providing opportunities to explore new regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV systems.
• Manage low-voltage cabling, including Cat 6 cabling, drilling, and minor conduit work.
• Ensure installations meet customer expectations, contractual obligations, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with team leads and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Experience in CCTV installation, Cat 6 cabling, conduit work, and networking.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site maps.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network switches.
• Basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transport (company vehicle provided after training).
• Knowledge of cabling infrastructure; conduit installation experience is a plus.
