About the Job

Our Client is seeking an experienced, motivated full -time Dedicated CDL -A Truck Driver to join the team in Carteret, NJ. You will be driving a tractor pulling a van or reefer trailer delivering groceries throughout New York, including Manhattan.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL -A)
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor -trailer experience
  
• Current or ability to obtain a non -excepted interstate DOT Medical Card
  
• Must be at least 21 years of age
  
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years (subject to review)
  
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
  
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA Security Clearance
  

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups according to the daily manifest
  
• Handle return pickups when required
  
• Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight
  
• Comply with all DOT regulations and safety requirements
  
• Build positive relationships with customers and account managers
  
• Complete pre -trip and post -trip vehicle inspections
