CDL-A Store Delivery Driver - Weekly Home Time - Round Trips

Westchester drivers: round-trip store deliveries across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, with weekly home time.

Numbers first

• Weekly gross: $1,700 to $2,000
• Mileage pay: $0.85 to $0.90 per mile
• NYC borough deliveries: $75 extra each
• Training pay: $850 a week
• Typical week: about 2,100 miles

The route

You deliver to stores for one retail customer across the tri-state area, and every run comes back to the starting point. Days and nights both run. Weekends and holidays are part of this account. If you don't mind city streets, this route pays well for an entry-level job.

Just finished CDL school?

You qualify with a CDL-A school certificate of at least 120 hours. You ride with a mentor for 3 to 5 weeks (200 to 250 hours) and get $850 every week while you learn the routes.

Note: We're not currently hiring drivers who live in the Bronx. Westchester, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, New Jersey and Connecticut drivers are welcome.

What you need

• Completed CDL-A training at a truck driving school (minimum 120 hours)
• Class A CDL from your state of residence
• At least 21
• Up to 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years
• DOT physical and drug screen
