Ceiling Installer

Pay range: $25.00-$35.00 DOE

We are looking for a ceiling Installer to join our team! 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Install various types of ceilings, including suspended ceilings, acoustic ceilings, and
  decorative ceilings.


•  Measure and cut ceiling materials to the appropriate size and shape.


• Mount and secure ceiling panels, tiles, or other materials using appropriate tools and
  techniques.


• Repair or replace damaged or worn-out ceiling components.
  Ensure that all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and
  manufacturer's instructions.


• Collaborate with other team members, such as electricians or plumbers, to ensure
  proper installation of ceiling fixtures or utilities.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area.


• Adhere to project deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner.


• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualification: 

• Experience as a Ceiling Installer or similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of different types of ceilings, installation techniques, and materials.


• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications related to ceiling installations.


• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the job.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and
  confined spaces.


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces and


• elevated surfaces. Able to work at heights up to 45ft.


• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbs


• Able to work independently or with a crew


• Basic understanding of safety procedures and the importance of workplace safety.


• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts throughout the day


• Must be able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees to complete installation


• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time


•  Position requires a drug test and physical to be completed, contingent upon employment.

Physical Demand: 

•  Must be able to use common hand tools, including scissors, utility knife, saws, pliers, and
  stapling hammer, drills, laser guns,


• Must be able to read job instructions and record materials used per each work/job order


• Must be able to work in tight places, including attics and crawlspaces


• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 100lbs


• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts


• Must be able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees to install ceiling tile


• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time


• Able to climb into, operate, and work in an aerial lift
