Cerakote Outside Sales Representative Automotive Care Products (Miami, FL)

A route-based outside sales position with a leading manufacturer of automotive ceramic coatings.

Cerakote is seeking a Outside Sales Representative to sell and support its automotive care product line in Miami and the surrounding area. Operating a fully stocked, company-owned sales vehicle on a regular route, the specialist will serve detail shops, wrap and vinyl installers, and retail partners, providing on-site product demonstrations and direct sales.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, providing consistent service to existing accounts, and expanding the territory. Cerakote provides the vehicle and all inventory.

The ideal candidate has experience in the automotive detailing industry, a strong background in outside sales, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Route management: Plan and execute a consistent route of detail shops, wrap and vinyl installers, and retail accounts, maintaining regular contact with customers throughout the territory.


• Direct sales: Demonstrate products, make direct sales from the vehicle, process orders, and handle payments.


• Customer training and support: Provide product training, sales support, and merchandising expertise on our consumer and professional coating lines.


• Business development: Identify and develop new accounts and maintain long-term relationships that generate repeat business.


• Inventory management: Maintain vehicle inventory, perform stock checks, coordinate replenishment, and support customer stock levels.


• Events: Represent Cerakote at car shows, trade shows, and industry events, including some evenings and weekends.


• Reporting: Use CRM, ERP, EDI, and shipping software to record activity and orders and report performance to management.


• Market analysis: Research market conditions and competitor activity to develop strategies that meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in the automotive detailing industry


• Proven outside sales, route sales, or account management experience


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with online marketplace platforms


• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills


• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach


• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel daily within the territory


• Self-motivated and proactive, with a collaborative work style


• Availability for evenings and weekends as needed for events


• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, including THC.

Preferred:

• Mobile or route sales experience


• Hands-on experience applying ceramic coatings


• Familiarity with inventory management and ERP/CRM systems


• Experience in automotive, home improvement, or consumer goods

Physical Requirements

• Extended periods of driving and sitting


• Frequently entering and exiting the vehicle throughout the day


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., including overhead, for stocking the vehicle and setting up displays
