The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for the position of Certified Equipment Operator I in the Line Maintenance Department.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will operate equipment such as trucks, tractors and mowers, dump trucks, excavation equipment and motorized rodder machinery and uses a variety of power and hand tools in the installation, repair and maintenance of City owned water distribution system and waste water collection system and other public property.
Primary responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
✓ Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent ✓ Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable
✓ Must possess and maintain an OK Commercial Class "B" driver's license with Air Brakes and Tanker endorsement and ODEQ Class "D" water and wastewater certifications ✓ Must be at least 18 years old
