Medical Assistant - Memory Care Department

Grand Villa of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Certified Medical Assistant to join our Memory Care Department. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments and routine medical procedures

- Monitor and record vital signs and patient health information accurately

- Support residents with daily activities and personal care as needed

- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols

- Maintain detailed and confidential medical records

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

- Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness programs

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid and current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) license

- Prior experience working with seniors, preferably in memory care or related settings

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism

- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation standards

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including some weekends or evenings if required
