Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant, sometimes referred to as a Podiatry Clinic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Foot Care CNA. The Podiatry CNA supports our clinic with basic patient care and clinic support. It is similar to a Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN) role, but focused on foot, ankle, toenail, wound, and diabetic foot care.

Shifts Available: Days

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Location: Providence Medical Group – Kansas City, KS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Support providers with patient care, clerical duties, room preparation, and daily clinic organization
• Help with routine foot care appointments, diabetic foot checks, and wound care visits
• Prepare patients for exams and positioning while ensuring rooms and instruments are clean and ready
• Enter patient information into the electronic medical record, including chief complaint, medical/surgical history, allergies, medications, and social/family history
• Provide helpful information to patients while delivering a positive, professional image of the organization

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
• Be able type
• Protect patient confidentiality

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Familiar with and willing to learn medical terminology

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
