Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary:

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  
• Assist with mobility and transfer of patients, including the use of mechanical lifting devices.
  
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' health status to the nursing staff.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control policies and procedures.
  
• Help patients with exercises and physical therapy activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
  
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
  
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of California.
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
