Fox Subacute is a 55-bed skilled nursing and subacute care facility specializing in pulmonary, neurological, and rehabilitative care for medically complex residents, including respiratory and ventilator-dependent patients. Our environment offers the clinical acuity of a hospital step-down unit while allowing CNAs to build meaningful, long-term relationships with residents.

What we are looking for:

Fox Subacute at Mechanicsburg is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our clinical care team. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work three 12-hour shifts per week for full-time status.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding


• Observe, report, and document changes in resident condition


• Support resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times


• Assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper techniques


• Collaborate with licensed nurses, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care team members


• Follow individualized care plans and person-centered care practices


• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive resident environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current certification on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry
  


• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care


• Ability to remain calm and effective during high-activity or emergency situations


• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team


• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively


• Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds
